BIN QASIM INDUSTRIAL AREA
Bin Qasim Industrial Zone is the largest industrial area of Sindh province, spread over 12000 acres of land of Port Qasim / Bin Qasim Town area, occupied by large and medium size industrial units, currently there are 180 Large and Medium Size units are operating in the area. 
Bin Qasim Industral Zone have the potential to emerge as Financial Hub of Karachi in future, currently there are number of banks and insurance companies are operating in the area.

ASSOCIATION
Bin Qasim Association of Trade & Industry, BQATI (formerly Port Qasim Association of Trade & Industry, PQATI) Is a representative body of industries located in Bin Qasim industrial Zones. The Association was initially established with clear objectives to promote industrial activities in the area and to contribute positively to the economic well-being of the Country by way of enhancing industrial production.

AIM
The aim of BQATI is to uphold and safeguard the rights and interests of its members.

MANAGEMENT
The organization’s policies and programs are determined by the 10 members of Executive Committee, which are elected by the General Body, new members are inducted through election. The Executive Committee every year elects President and Vice President. President controls the working of office and staff and directs all matters of the Association, with the assistance of Vice-President.

INDUSTRIES IN BIN QASIM
Above 180 large scale industrial units are operating overthere. Pakistan Steel, Lotte Pakistan PTA Ltd., Toyota Indus Motors, Pak Suzuki, Engro Polymer, FFC Jordan, Procter & Gamble, Ghandhara Nissan, National Foods, Nestle Pakistan, Fauji Oil Terminals, Ali Danyal Industries, Gamalux Oleochemicals, Shujabad Agro Industries, PAN Industries,IFFCO Pakistan Ltd., Mapak Oil Ltd., Universal Cables Ltd., Faisalabad Oil Refinery and Tripak Films Ltd. are the prominent industrial unit.

CONTRIBUTION TO NATIONAL ECONOMY
They are contributing a big share in national economy by paying duties and taxes apart from earning huge foreign exchange for the Country as well as employing a large workforce.
